![]() I suggest you go through your CC to make sure everything actually works and you do not have conflicting default replacements. With this file, I can go as deep as 5 subfolders and the game runs fine.Īnother thing it could be is a few broken files or files that conflict with each other (default replacements mostly) that the game keeps trying to read when loading. It only takes my game about 2 minutes to load into a lot. I have around 2,700 files at just over 5GB. What does yours look like? I have all my mods and CC in subfolders. I’ve made no changes except having to get the EA app and update the sounds like the game is not reading the resource.cfg file. I have never encountered the game to take any extra time to launch, and I can’t find any reasons why it suddenly is. I have to restart my computer to be able to use the folder again. ![]() Though, I know they’re still going in the background as I’m unable to move things in the Mods folder. The EA app and the game will also disappear from the task manager, so it gives me no reason to believe it’s actually trying to launch. I tried again, and only placed around 200mb worth of CC in the Mods folder and left my computer running, and after maybe 20 minutes the game launched. I’ll turn and do something else and suddenly the music will come on and the game loads and plays normally. I’m starting to think the problem is something else entirely, as the game has intermittently launched a couple times, with different CC-folder ratios. gave that a try and it seemed to work, but then I tried adding more CC and the results were the same. ![]()
